How Veyzo handles your information.

You can create an indicative estimate without supplying a name, email address or telephone number. The estimate collects a UK postcode, property or roof type, electricity spend, roof direction, reported shading, storage preference and optional EV or heat-pump indicators. The service stores the resulting system, generation, benefit, cost and payback figures.

Veyzo sends the postcode to Postcodes.io to validate it and obtain approximate coordinates. Those coordinates—not your account credentials—may then be sent to the European Commission’s PVGIS service to obtain solar-resource data. If that lookup is unavailable, the calculator uses a regional fallback.

If you register, Veyzo stores the name and email address you provide, a securely hashed password for credential accounts, your account role, and authentication session data. Do not reuse a password from another service.

When you choose to request quotes, the saved estimate is linked to your account and becomes a quote request. Participating installer users may be able to view its postcode and property, roof, usage and system fields so they can decide whether to submit a proposal. Your account email is not part of the estimate record shown in that request workflow.

Do not enter a full street address, phone number or other unnecessary personal information into free-text fields.

Installer proposals store equipment, pricing, included and excluded work, warranty terms, timing and notes. Accepting a proposal changes its status, rejects competing proposals for that request and creates a pending job record. A separate installer survey and consumer contract are still required.

Data is processed by the hosting, database and authentication services needed to operate Veyzo, as well as the postcode and solar-resource services described above. Veyzo may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.

No internet service can promise absolute security. Veyzo should retain information only while needed for the service, legal obligations and dispute handling. You may ask about access, correction or deletion through the contact page. Some records may need to be retained where the law or an active transaction requires it.
